I’ve Kicked Off 30 Days of Writing

I’ll be cranking out an Atomic Essay (your reading one now) every day for 30 days, as part of my participation in the Ship 30 for 30 cohort.

Here are a few reasons why:

  1. To Grow Room 214
  2. I recently bought out my friend and business partner of 18 years, and am inspired to drive interest in our unique approach to growing eCommerce businesses.
  3. Marketing is Chaos
  4. Those leading marketing, or small teams trying to getting marketing off the ground, can vouch for me here. The forces of chaos seem endless: data privacy, marketing tech stacks, emerging social platforms, rising ad and acquistion costs, changing consumer values….the list goes on.
  5. Stepping Out from Behind the Client Curtain
  6. I’ve been on the inside of the business, working with clients and employees for 30 years. I was never driven to be the face of the business and wanted the work to speak for itself. What I’ve learned is someone needs to speak for the work. That someone is me. So here we are.

Over the next 30 days, I plan on writing about the forces of marketing chaos, connect-to-customer growth strategies, growing eCommerce businesses.

I hope you join and support me on this new adventure — truth be told, I’m nervous as hell.
