3 Topics I’m Tracking in 2023

There are 3 topics I am actively thinking about a lot these days:

Topic #1: Artificial Intelligence

This is an industry moving with lightning speed with direct impacts on content creation — copy, graphics, imagery, video — the tools we use every day.

And my hope is that over the next year, as I continue to learn more and more, I’ll be able to share exactly how we use and leverage this technology for ourselves and our clients.

Topic #2: Power of Brand In The Cookieless Future

Early indications are performance media (direct-to-consumer advertising), heydays are over. Ad budgets are on the rise, but customer spending is declining, driving up customer acquisition costs. Even though it shouldn’t, the cookieless world is catching a lot of companies by surprise and they don’t have the right strategies or even mindset to adjust.

I’ll help differentiate Connect-to-Customer mindsets over Direct-to-Cusotmer ad-driven ones.

Topic #3: Company Culture with a Global Remote Workforce

I also have an interest in learning more about building strong cultures in a completely remote and global workforce environment.

It’s both fascinating and necessary for me. My company, Room 214, has always had a strong culture, but I’m seeing the need to upgrade my thinking and experiment more.

It would be great to connect with other people who are interested in these same topics — so if any of the above resonates, feel free to reach out!
